An Illustrated History of the Church

Sandro Corsi's nonfiction illustrations

The Church in the Age of Humanism

'Age of Humanism' cover, USA The sixth in a series of ten books on the history of Christianity. This volume starts with the first Jubilee in 1300, and concludes with the travels of discovery that capped the Renaissance. Debate within the Church, scientific speculation, and artistic experimentation--all accelerated dramatically in this period.

This was my very first project as a professional illustrator.
